Dr. Jessica Yeater is originally from Kansas where her passion for the horse started at a early age. Growing up, she competed in rodeo and trained horses, with a particular focus around barrel racing and breakaway roping. She earned her Associate’s degree from NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma in 2018, before completing her Bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University in 2020. During her undergraduate studies she was an active member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. Following graduation, she completed a one-year internship with Salado Equine Medical Center. Dr. Yeater is excited to continue her career as an associate veterinarian with the SEMC team, providing compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with clients and their horses. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, staying active in the gym, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her family and her own horses.
