Computed Tomography (CT) Scanning
Salado Equine Medical Center is one of the few practices in North America equipped with advanced equine computed tomography technology. Our CT system provides highly detailed 3D images of bones, soft tissues, internal organs, and blood vessels. Imaging can be performed on both standing and anesthetized horses, allowing for flexibility and precision in case management.

Ultrasonography
We perform detailed ultrasound evaluations of tendons, ligaments, joints, and internal systems including the thoracic and abdominal cavities as well as the reproductive tract. Echocardiography is available to assess cardiac function.
Digital Radiography
Our digital radiography system delivers high-resolution images within seconds, providing exceptional detail of skeletal structures and internal anatomy. Services include pre-training assessments, venograms, sales repository films, and myelograms.
Endoscopy
Our endoscopic technology allows visualization of the upper airway, gastrointestinal tract, uterus, and bladder with remarkable clarity. This capability supports accurate diagnosis of respiratory, gastric, and reproductive conditions.
Dental & Sinus Imaging
Using advanced imaging techniques, including CT-assisted 3D reconstruction, we provide thorough evaluation of the oral, sinus, and nasal cavities to support accurate diagnosis and surgical planning in complex dental cases.
